by Simon Ager
I've always been interested in music - listening to it, playing instruments, singing, and I've been writing songs and tunes since 2015. I currently sing in a couple of choirs, play recorders with friends, and play folk music in folk sessions. In the past I've played in wind bands, big bands, an orchestra and a ukulele group.
Through music I have met many marvellous people, visited plenty of interesting places and had some wonderful experiences. I've taken part in music and singing workshops and courses in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man and Cornwall, and performed with others or on my own in concert halls, cathedrals, churches, castles, gardens, stately homes, railway stations, airports, high streets and studios, and at music festivals.

Most of my songs and tunes, and my podcasts, can be heard on SoundCloud. I also post videos of some of them on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Here are a couple of examples:
You can see the scores for some of my tunes and songs on Musescore and you can support me by signing up for Musescore Pro via this link.
