Jaminjung is a Western Mirndi language spoken in the Northern Territory of Australia. It was formerly spoken along the Victoria River, and is currently spoken mainly in Timber Creek, and in nearby townships. According to the 2016 census there are 29 speakers of Jaminjung, which is also known as Djamindjung, Jamindjung or Yirram. The Jaminjung are all elderly, and the language is no longer acquired by children, who speak Kriol, an English-based creole.
A number of people documented the grammar and vocabulary of Jaminjung in the 1960s and 70s, although their work was not published. Others have written about the language since then.
