Muinane (Muìnánɨ)

Muinane is a member of the Boran language family. It is spoken by about 150 people in southern Colombia, particularly in the town of Puerto Santander in the Amazonas Department, and between the Caquetá and Yari rivers in the Caquetá Department. There are possibly some speakers of Muinane in Peru as well.

Muinane is also known Muinana, Muinani, Muename, Muinane Bora, Bora-Muinane or Feenemɨna. It is written with the Latin alphabet using a spelling system based on Spanish.
