The Aleiö script was invented by Gabriel Acosta to write his constructed languge, Veumlindel. It can also be used to write any Germanic or Romance language. The script was devised to be written using a nib pen and can be effortlessly written with it. The main goal was ease and speed of writing, the next objective was to ensure direct interpretation of the text, and last but not least the aesthetic aspect of it. As inspiration the creator used the Latin, Georgian and Arabic scripts so as to create a functional and beautiful script; it is the final work of ten years of typography and calligraphy studies, and lots of trial and error.

Even the finest teaching is not the Tao itself.
Even the finest name is insufficient to define it.
Without words, the Tao can be experienced,
and without a name, it can be known.
First verse of the Tao Te Ching (Translated by Stan Rosenthal, 1984)
