The Bubblebet was invented by Revioleth because of her love for round and flowy figures. Each symbol consists of a "bubble", so the main circular part of the letter and the wavy line that is attached to the bubble. Probably the most important skill in using the Bubblebet is the ability to distinguish when a letter is "entered" from the top or the bottom.
For example, the letters d and m have both got two bubbles but 'd' is entered from the top and 'm' from the bottom, like so:
The only two consonants that do not follow the circle + wave rule are 'r' and 'l'. When they follow any letter, they should connect to it:
Capital letters are created by drawing an additional, small circle on the right side of the symbol:
Double consonants are formed by adding another wave to the pre-existing ones. Usually, one "doubles" the letter on the right side or the left (depending on where the wave is), but 'ss', 'cc' and 'zz'(below) are marked differently. Double vowels do not follow that rule.
The Bubblebet is written from left to right and can be used for most languages, and it is quite a flexible and customizable script. The only rule one must follow when creating additional letters for it, (such as "th", "ph" or "š" if the language requires it)is the bubble and wave combo.
