These scripts were devised by Kajjera Dyavanna as ways to write the Irula and Lambani languages. Irula (இருளா) is a Southern Dravidian language spoken in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in southern India. Lambani (Gor-bol) is a Western Rajasthani language spoken in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana in India. It is also known as Lambadi or Banjari.
