Junnish

The Junnish Script is a writing created by Tan Jun Jie in May 2015. It was inspired by the Latin Arabic script. It is used to jot down secret notes and annotate certain sounds. Each letter or letter combination represents only one sound.

Junnish script

Notes

A starter is used to indicate the direction of a word or a sentence.
Junnish has upper case and lower case letters. Upper case is used at the start of a sentence or for a proper name. Lower case is used for elsewhere.
The letters in second row are used when the letter is in the initial or the middle of a word. Empty boxes means that no change to the letter.
The letters in third row are used when the sound of the letter is doubled or strengthened.
The upper case letter (I), is always isolated.
The lower case letter i, has two forms. The second one, i without a dot, is used after letters of 'left side opening', eg: lower case c, k, s, t, ks, st, z, etc. The first one, inverted v, is used for the other letters.
The letters b and p take the form without a dash when attached to letters of 'left side opening'.
The letter y is pronounced [j] in initial position, but pronounced [aɪ] after a consonant, [i] after vowels and [i:] when doubled or strengthened.
