Majok

Majok is a logographic script that was created by Scorupa D, a language enthusiast fluent in English and Japanese, and currently studying Chinese, as a fun challenge after he noticed the lack of logographic conscripts online. Majok forms words and sentences by combining and chaining glyphs, an idea modeled after Chinese characters. But unlike the Chinese writing system, Majok only has a couple dozen glyphs. Above all else, Majok emphasizes the beauty of the script more than the clarity of the language.

The glyphs originally weren't meant to represent any sound, but the base glyphs were later assigned sounds based on their names in order to be able to represent proper names and foreign words. When used in this way, the glyphs are underlined.
Up to 4 glyphs can be combined into a single combined glyph. The components are read top to bottom and left to right, and are stretched and squashed so that the combined glyph fits within a square. Combinations any longer are written by writing multiple combined glyphs next to each other, and placing a "join marker" between the combined glyphs in handwritten Majok.
Glyphs that represent tense and aspect are usually written on the right side, or as a separate glyph attached at the end of the verb.
Although there is a common combination of glyphs used to represent each word, any combination that can be understood is valid. (e.g. snow = "water + sky + winter" or "water + cold + sky").
Embellishments can be added to glyphs for aesthetics, or to help distinguish different glyph combinations that are similar in appearance.
