Mawar Liarguwi was created by Eko Wahyu Darmansyah in 2023 to write his constructed language, Darman. It can also be used to write Komering and Indonesian. It was initially based on his Mawar alphabet. The name means "Work that has been completed but not certain", and reflects the many changes that may occur in the language.

The Darman language can also be written with the Latin or Arabic alphabets. It is based on Austronesian languages such as Indonesian, Malay, Tagalog, Javanese, Sundanese, Minangkabau and languages in Sumatra.
