The Mystic Script was created by Miah for a story she is writing. It can be used for the English language, and any other language that uses the Latin alphabet. In her story she had intended Mystic to be written on small, smooth, flat, round stones in a counterclockwise spiral starting from the inside.
The Mystic script was inspired by rune stones and the swirling mists that hang over ponds when the weather is cold and damp. It was not modeled on any script in particular; any relation to other scripts is purely coincidental.
It can be written in two different ways: in a counterclockwise spiral starting from the inside. As the original script was to be written on stones, it was easier to read using the spiral script because one could turn the stone around. On paper, however, this was not so easy unless one could turn the script in their mind. The simplified version, written from left to right, was created to make reading and writing easier on large writing surfaces or surfaces that cannot be turned (easily).
