Piasvak is the invention of Connie Reece, aka Narghargs, and is the official, traditional script of the Vikti language. The name comes from Old Vikti piahvaq meaning "epigraph". Piahvaq is also the Old Vikti name of the archaic alphabet system from which modern Piasvak characters are derived.
