The Slavic script was created in 2019 by Nikola Jović as an alternative to the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets for the sake of Slavic unity, free from the religious and political connotations of the current scripts.
Хеј Славени јоште живи реч наших дедова
док за народ срце бије њихових синова
Живи живи дух Славенски живеће веков'ма.
Hej Slaveni jošte živi reč naših dedova
dok za narod srce bije njihovih sinova
Živi živi duh Slavenski živeće vekov'ma.
Hey Slavs there still lives the word of our grandfathers
while for the nations beats the hearts of their sons
There lives there lives the Slavic spirit it will live for ages.
(Lyrics to the anthem 'Hey, Slavs')
