Yìril’soo Tàuar (Jril’sō Tąςr)

Yìril’soo Tàuar is a language invented by Walter Tocci and the name of the two scripts he uses to write that language. One script is based on invented characters, while the other uses a mixture of letters from the Latin, Cyrillic and Greek alphabets.

You can put upon a short vowel six different diacritical marks. One makes a short vowel a long one; the other five transform short vowels into diphthongs.
Tonic vowels are usually in the first syllable, so most of the words with more than one syllable have a tonic first syllable
Tonic vowels following a long vowel are pronounced with a slight exhalation
Another diacritical mark makes a single consonant a double one

Nezedjàttem àma nèzoem’vee ònvinsir àma werwas lau’modjat òdir amràssis oite jarivjan. Sìkanter àma suvaenmahil’gee nùmis èris ais’ imà dhimadaivjen’gee meehèsem’vee àl dàhor àl èris akoe àink.

Translation

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
