Anindilyakwa is a Pama-Nyungan language spoken by the Warnindilyakwa people in the Groote Eylandt Archipelago in the Northern Territory of Australia, specifically on Groote Eylandt and Bickerton Islands in the in the Gulf of Carpentaria. According to the 2016 census, there are 1,480 speakers of Anindilyakwa, although there are believed to be up to 3000.
Anindilyakwa is thought to be related to Nunggubuyu, an Arnhem language spoken on the nearby mainland, however this connection is uncertain. Anindilyakwa is also known as Andiljangwa, Andilyaugwa, Aninhdhilyagwa, Enindhilyagwa, Enindiljaugwa, Groote Eylandt, Ingura or Wanindilyaugwa.
The Groote Eylandt Language Centre works to maintain and preserve the Anindilyakwa language and culture. They produce books, teaching materials, recordings and other material.
