Haroi is a member of the Chamic branch of Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken in Bình Định and Phú Yên provinces in the South Central Coast region of Vietnam. According to the 2019 census, 178,948 people speak Haroi, however the number may be higher at around 250,000 people.
Haroi is also known as Aroi, Bahnar Cham, Hoi, Hroi, Hroy or Hrway. It can be written with the Latin alphabet.
