Crymeddau is an alternative alphabet for Welsh created by Simon Ager. It grew out of random scribbles and is not modelled on any particular alphabet, though some of the consonants shapes are based losely on the shapes made by the tongue, teeth and/or lips to produce them.
It is designed particularly for Welsh and includes separate letters for all Welsh consonants, including mutated ones, as well as long and short vowels. Diphthongs are written with combinations of vowels. It can also be used to write most other European languages. The name crymeddau is Welsh for "curves".

Note: the font is a bit rough and I will try to improve it. Some of the upper case letters in the font are different from the lower case ones: C = ch, G = ng, L = ll, M = mh, N = nh, P = ph, Q = ngh, R = rh, S = sh and T = th. Also ð = dd, v is used for f, and f for ff.
