Saxiriya

The Saxiriya alphabet was created in 2015 by Mohammad Sagir Ahmed, from Morigaon, Assam, India, as an alternative script for Assamese, his mother tongue. It could be also used in English, Hindi-Urdu, Arabic, Japanese and many others. The word "Saxiriya" comes from "Sagir (চাগিৰ)" and "Ôxômiya (অসমীয়া)", which means "Assamese" in Assamese language.

Notes

The "hôxôntô" symbol mutes the inherent vowel. The symbol is hidden in the last letter of a word, to remove it, the " ' " symbol is used. It is also used to increase the time of a sound, one " ' " increases by 1 second.
The "ं" symbol is used for the Devanagari letter "अ (a)", for example: nut (English word).
The "़" symbol is used for sounds like "ع", "ق", "غ" and "ح" in Arabic.
The "ঁ" symbol is used for nasal sounds.
The symbol of "hô" (hôxôntô+hô) has similar role with the English letter "h", but is not used with "s" for the "shô" sound. Examples: p+h = ph, g+h = gh etc.

Example of "hôxôntô": Pô + hôxôntô + rô + kô + a symbol + rô = Prôkar (this Assamese word means "type" in English)

Examples of the " ' " symbol: Mô + a symbol + ' + ' = Ma'' (Maaa)
(To remove "hôxôntô) Kô + rô + bô + a symbol + tô + ' = Kôrôbatô

Example of the "़" symbol; Mô + u symbol + hô + ़ + a symbol + mô + hôxôntô + mô + a symbol + dô = Muhammad (محمد)

Example of the "ঁ" symbol: Kô + ঁ + nô + i symbol = K(n)ôni ("egg")

Example of the symbol "hô": Zô + ngô + hôxôntô + gô + hô symbol + lô = Zôngghôl ("jungle")

Transliteration

Xôkôlo manuhe xôman môrzôda aru ôdhikare zônmôgrôhôn kôre. Xihôtôr bibek aru buddhi ase aru xuhôte pôrôspôr bhatritwôre asôrôn kôribô lage.

Translation

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
