The Shirn Brádulë script was invented by Pieter Rottiers for his upcoming fantasy cycle "War of Blood and Darkness". It is part of a quite extensive world building project involving several languages, a series of very detailed maps and a ton of description. For his languages Pieter also developed several scripts. This one is used in the region called Gaendyr, and is used to depict Gendric, the local language, and a variety of languages from neighbouring regions. Shirn Brádulë is a Gendric expression and means "Hand of the freelord", named that way since the writing system was established by the freelord of Ganador, the major city in Gaendyr.
