The Thai script for Tagalog is a way to write Tagalog with the Thai alphabet devised by the BRAHMIC FILIPINO YouTuber in October 2019. It can also be used to write other Philippine languages, such as Bicol, Ilocano, Kapampangan and Visayan, and is based on the Thai Sanskrit orthography. It was inspired by the word “อนกฺ” (anak) in the Thai transliteration of The Laguna Copperplate Inscription.
This chart shows the Thai letters, their Baybayin and Latin equivalents, and their pronunciation in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
