The Vargish-Runes (Vurgi-Rasna) was constructed in 2018 by C. S. De Silva, a.k.a Ken D. It is used by the fictional Vargr (created by Ken D) to write their native Vargish tongue. The alphabet can also be used to write English, Latin and any other script with basic spelling systems.
The language was devised Vargrheim, home of the Vargr/Vurgi, a race of Uthvathig (meaning "half-man"). The simple script was made to carve messages onto caves and rocks. The script is written on dried pelts, carved into rock and the surfaces of caves.
The script is composed of only 12 symbols. The letters of the script are unique: each letter has three forms: a Frontal-Form, Medial-Form and End-Form. For example; the symbol "Bal" (B/A/L) is pronounced "B" when in front of a word (Frontal), "A" when in the middle of a word (Medial) and "L" when at the end of a word (Ending). The script has no separate vowels or consonants. The script has no specific punctuation marks, although circles and triangles are used for Silencers.
