How to count in Nengone (p’ene nengone), a New Caledonian language spoken in Loyalty Islands province of New Caledonia.
Nengone uses classifiers when counting specific things: ehna for the plural of living animate beings, ko for a precise quantity, so for inanimate beings and dead animals, and so on.
Some numbers have been borrowed from English.
