Aringa (Ãriṇ̃gã)

Aringa is a Central Sudanic language spoken by about 300,000 people in the West Nile region in the north west of Uganda, particularly in Yumbe District, which was formerly known as Aringa County.

Aringa is also known as Low Lugbara and is considered by some scholars a dialect of Lugbara.

Aringa is taught in primary schools and used in radio programs. There is also a translations of the New Testament in Aringa.
