Chakhar (ᠴᠠᠬᠠᠷ)

Chakhar is a variety of Mongolian spoken by about 100,000 people in the central region of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region in the north of China, particularly in the Xilingol League and the Ulanqab region.

Chakhar is also known as Chahar Chaha'er, Chakhar or Qahar. Native speakers call it ᠴᠠᠬᠠᠷ (čaqar).
