Lower Tanana (Menhti Kenaga)

Lower Tanana is a Northern Athabaskan language spoken in parts of eastern Alaska, mainly in the villages of Minto and Nenana on the lower Tanana River. In 2007 there were only 15 speakers of Lower Tanana, which is also known as Tanana or Middle Tanana.

A project to document songs in Lower Tanana was undertaken by Siri Tuttle, a linguist from the Native Language Center at the University of Alaska, in 2008-2009.
