Papantla Totonac is a Totonacan language spoken around the city of Papantla the Mexican state of Veracruz in central Mexico by about 80,000 people. It is also known as Lowland Totonac, and is a recognized national language in Mexico.
The letters b, c, d, f, g, h, ñ, q, v and z are also used, but only in foreign words and names.
