Picuris

Picuris is a member of the Northern Tiwa branch of the Tanoan language family. It is spoken by about 225 people in Picuris Pueblo in northern New Mexico in the southwest of the USA.

Picuris is also known as Picurís. It is closely related to Taos, and more distantly related to Southern Tiwa. Picuris is written with the Latin alphabet.
