- No hent se zoanander gsaed: Auf goht's, machat mr Bachschtoe on dent dia brenna. Ond da Bachschtoe hent se als Schtoe gnomma ond da Teer als Schpeis.
- Ond se hent gsaed: Auf goht's, baut mr a Schtadt ond en Turm, der mo bis en Hemmel nauf goht; so machat mr ons en Noma, daß mr ons et auf am ganza Erdboda vrschtraeat!
- No ischt dr Herrgot ragfahra ond hot dui Schtadt ond den Turm oguckt, mo dia Menscha baut hent.
- Ond dr Herrgott hot gsaed: Do guck no: des ischt oe Volk ond se schprechat oe Schproch, ond de'scht erscht dr Ofang von dem, was dia doa wöllat; dene ischt bald nex mae omöglich, was dia onternemmat.
- Auf goht's, gemm'r na ond brenget en ihr Schproch durchanander, daß koener maeh em andere sae Schproch vrschtoht!
- Ond dr Herrgott hot se von sell über da ganze Erdbode vrschtraet, no hent se's aufgeba, dui Schtadt zom baua.
- Deswega hoeßt mr se Babel, weil dr Herrgott sell d‘ Schproch von dr ganza Welt durchanander brocht ond se von sell über da ganza Erdboda verschtraet hot.
