Palapala Kepanī (パラパラ ケパニー)

Palapala Kepanī is a way to write Hawaiian with Japanese Katakana devised by Malcolm Lutz. He decided to create it as the Katakana syllabary fits well to the syllable structure of Hawaiian, and because there are many people of Japanese origin in Hawaii.
