Spanish Cyrillic (Еспаӈи́рико)

Spanish Cyrillic was invented by Stefan Stanchev (Стефан Станчев) from Bulgaria in September 2017. His favorite writing system is Cyrillic, and he wanted to see what his favorite language would look like when written with his native alphabet. He thought it would also help him to learn and understand Spanish. The letters are based on Slavic Cyrillic, few of Turkic Cyrillic, and one of them from Old Cyrillic.

Áá: amará - амарá
Ґґ (ge and gi): gente - ґенте; girar - ґирар
Éé: bésame - бéсаме; hablé - һабԓé
И́и́: tenía - тени́а; escribí - ескриби́
Ұұ: voy - воұ; yo puedo - ұо пуедо
Кк: corazón - коразóн
Ӄӄ (que and qui): te quiero - те ӄиеро; ¿Qué haces? - ¿Ӄé һаҫес?
Xx in Españírico is written with КСкс in words, such as: extranjero - екстранхеро or galaxía - гаԓакси́а; but México, mexicano, mexicanos, mexicana or mexicanas are written with Xx: Мéхико, мехикано, мехиканос, мехикана and мехиканас. This is because in these words the Latin letter Xx is pronounced like Xx in Cyrillic. Although in initial position Xx is pronounced like Ss in few words like хilófono or хenofobia, in Españírico Xx is written again with КСкс: ксиԓóфоно and ксенофобиа

Ӈӈ: años - аӈос, español - еспаӈоԓ
Óó: compró - компрó
Зз: amanezco - аманезко; luz - ԓуз
Ҫҫ (ce and ci): central - ҫентраԓ; cinco - ҫинко
У́у́: único - у́нико
Ӱӱ (güe and güi): pingüino - пингӱино; lingüística - ԓингӱи́стика
Хх: dije - дихе; dijimos - дихимос
Һһ is written, but not pronounced. E.g. hacer - һаҫер; hijo - һихо
Чч: ocho - очо
Ꙉꙉ: amarillo - амариꙉо; ella - еꙉа

Transliteration

Todos los seres humanos nacen libres e iguales en dignidad y derechos y, dotados como están de razón y conciencia, deben comportarse fraternalmente los unos con los otros.

Translation

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
