Ibaloi is a member of the Northern Luzon branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken mainly in southern Benguet province and western Nueva Vizcaya province in the Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative regions of Luzon in the Philippines. In 2005 there were about 116,000 speakers of Ibaloi.
Ibaloi is also known as Benguet-Igorot, Ibadoy, Ibaloy, Ivadoy, Igodor or Nabaloi. It is closely related to Pangasinan.
An orthography for Ibaloi has been developed by the Inibaloi Scripture Translation Project (shown below). Another orthography was developed by the Benguet Department of Education in 2016.
