Kankanaey is a member of the Northern Luzon branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken by about 240,000 people mainly in Mountain Province, and also in northern Benguet Province in the north Luzon in the Philippines. It's name is also written Kankana-ey. Kankanaey is related to Ilocano
