Ndrumbea (Nráa Drùbea)

Ndrumbea is a member of the New Caledonian branch of Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken on the southern tip of New Caledonian, near the capital Nouméa. According to the 2009 census, there are about 1,200 Ndrumbea speakers.

The language is also known as Ndumbea, Dubea, Drubea and Païta, and the people who speak it are known as Dubea. Ndrumbea is a tonal language with high, mid, and low tones.
