Italorussian was devised by Walter Loi as a way to write Italian with the Cyrillic script. He created it because his mother tongues are Italian and Russian, and it helps people familiar with the Cyrillic script to learn Italian. It contains only Cyrillic letters used to write Russian and other Slavic languages. Walter is also inventing a fictional country called Italorussia where this script is used.
