Najdi Arabic is a variety of Arabic spoken by about 14.6 million people in the Najd region of Saudi Arabia. There are speakers in the Eastern, Al Jawf and Najran provinces, and in the Northern Border Regions. There are also speakers of Najdi Arabic in Iraq (1.7 million), Syria (1.2 million), Kuwait (428,000) and Jordan (101,000), and small numbers of speakers in other countries [source].
Varieties of Najdi Arabic include North Najdi, Central Najdi and South Najdi. It is written with the Arabic alphabet.
پ [p] and ڤ [v] are used in foreign words, and are pronounced [b] and [f] by some speakers

هي قصة حيزينة عن مرا يقال لها نورة بنت حوشان من قبيلة بني رشيد. عاشت قبل ثلاث مية سنة في نجد مع زجلها عبود بن علي.
Hī giṣṣat ḥīzīna ʕan marā yigāl lahā Norah bint Ḥūšān min gibilat Binī Rišīd. ʕāšat gabl ṯalāṯ miyat sanah fī Najd maʕa rajlahā ʕabūd bin ʕalī.
It is a story about a woman named Norah, daughter of Ḥūšān from Binī Rišīd tribe. She lived 300 years ago in Najd region with her husband ʕabūd bin ʕalī.
