Choni is a Tibetic language spoken by about 150,000 people in Jonê County (卓尼县) in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (甘南藏族自治州) in the southeast of Gansu Province (甘肃省) in western China.
Choni is also known as Chona, Chone, Jone, Thewo, Thewo-Chone or Cone Tibetan. It can be written with the Tibetan alphabet.
