Dananshan Miao (Hmongb Drout Raol)

Dananshan Miao is a Hmong-Mien language spoken in western Guizhou, western Guangxi, and southern Sichuan and Yunnan in China. In 1995 there were about 1.4 million speakers. The language is also known as Miao chuanquiandian or 川黔滇苗 (Chuānqiándiān Miáo) in Chinese. The name Dananshan comes from 大南山寨 (dànánshān), a range of mountains in Guangzhou Province.
