Hmong Dau (Hmongb Dleub)

Hmong Dau is a Hmong-Mien language spoken in parts of China, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam by about 50,000 people. There are also Hmong Dau speakers in the USA and France. In China Hmong Dau speakers are found in the southern provinces of Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan.

Hmong Dau is also known as Hmong Daw, White Hmong or White Miao, and is closely related to Hmong Njua.

In China Hmong Dau is written with the Pahawh Hmong script or the Latin alphabet. In Laos, the Lao script is used, and in Thailand the Thai script is used.
