Emilian-Romagnol (emiliân-rumagnol)

Emilian-Romagnol is a Romance language spoken by about 1.7 million people in Emilia-Romagna, a region of northern Italy, and also in parts of Lombardy, Marche, Liguria and Tuscany in Italy, and in San Marino.

Emilian-Romagnol is recognised classified by UNSESO as two separate languages: Emilia and Romagna. Emilian-Romagnol is recognised as a regional or minority language under the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages, which has been signed in Italy but not ratified, so the language is not official recognised there.
