Mokilese is a Micronesian language spoken mainly in the Pohnpei Islands in Micronesia, and also in parts of the USA. In 2013 there were about 1,500 speakers of Mokilese, including 150 in Mokil Atoll (Mwoakilloa), 900 in Pohnpei, and about 450 in the USA.
Mokilese is closely related to Pingelapese and Pohnpeian.
The letter h is used to indicate vowel length.
