Tajio

Tajio is a member of the Celebic branch of the Malayo-Polynesian language family. It is spoken by about 12,000 people in Central Sulawesi Province in Indonesia, particularly in the subdistricts of Ampibabo, Kasminbar, Sindue and Tinombo in the Donggala Regency. Most Tajio speakers are adults. Few Tajio-speaking parents pass the language on to their children, who understand Tajio but are more likely to speak Indonesian.

Tajio is also known as Kasimbar, and is written with the Latin alphabet.
