Southeastern Tepehuán (O'dam)

Southeastern Tepehuán belongs to the Piman branch of the Uto-Aztecan language family. It is spoken by about 22,000 people in the south of Durango State in central Mexico. In particular it is spoken in the municipality of Mezquital and in the communities of San Francisco de Ocotán and Santiago Teneraca.

Southeastern Tepehuán is closely related to Southwestern Tepehuán and to Northern Tepehuán.
