The Tower of Babel (Genesis 11: 1-9)

- Bongo mabele mobimba ezalaki na monɔkɔ kaka moko
mpe maloba kaka ndenge moko.
- Mpe esalemaki boye: ntango bazalaki kosala mobembo epai ya ɛsti,
nsukansuka bamonaki lobwaku moko ya patatalu na mokili ya Shinare, mpe
babandaki kofanda wana.
- Mpe babandaki kolobana ete: “Yaká! Tósala babriki
mpe tótumba yango na mɔtɔ.” Boye mabanga na bango
nde briki, kasi pɔtɔpɔtɔ na bango nde gudrɔ.
- Bongo balobaki ete: “Yaká! Tómitongela engumba mpe
lisusu ndako molai oyo nsɔngɛ na yango ekei tii na likoló,
mpe tómisalela nkombo ya lokumu, noki tópalangana na mabele
mobimba.”
- Mpe Yehova akitaki mpo na kotala engumba mpe ndako molai oyo bana ya
bato batongaki.
- Nsima na yango, Yehova alobaki ete: “Talá! Bazali kaka
ekólo moko mpe bango nyonso bazali monɔkɔ kaka moko,
mpe talá oyo babandi kosala. Sikoyo, ezali na eloko moko te oyo
bakokanisa kosala, oyo bakokokisa te.
- Sikoyo yaká! Tókita kuna mpe tóbulunganisa
monɔkɔ na bango mpo ete moko te akoka koyoka monɔkɔ
ya mosusu.”
- Bongo Yehova apalanganisaki bango uta na esika yango tii na mabele mobimba, mpe
nsukansuka batikaki kotonga engumba yango.
- Yango wana babengaki yango nkombo
Babele, mpamba te kuna Yehova abulunganisaki monɔkɔ ya mabele
mobimba, mpe Yehova apalanganisaki bango longwa na esika wana tii na mabele mobimba.
