High Valyrian is a fictional language created by David J. Peterson which used in the Game of Thrones television series, and based on the few words of High Valyrian used in George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire.
High Valyrian can be written with the Latin alphabet, but is not written in the first two seasons of the television series. It does appear in writing in the third season, and in the prequel series, House of the Dragon, for which a High Valyrian script was created. This is a method of writing High Valyrian devised by Tsikhi using Tolkien's Tengwar script and known as Valyrio Tengvar (Valyrian Tengwar).
