Juang is a Munda language spoken mainly in Odisha state in eastern India, particularly in the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal and Keonjhar. In 2011 there were about 30,400 speakers of Juang, which is also known as Juango, Patra-Saara, Patua or Puttooas.
Juang can be written with the Odia alphabet and is used to a limited extent in literature. Juang speakers who are literate generally write in Odia.
