Onhan is a member of the Western Bisayan branch of the Philippine language family. It is spoken by about 86,000 people mainly in the Province of Romblon in the Mimaropa region of the Philippines. Onhan is spoken in the municipalities of San Andres, Santa Maria, Alcantara, Ferrol, Looc, Santa Fe and Odiongan on Tablas islands, and in San Jose on Carabao island. There are also some Onhan speakers on Boracay island in Aklan province, on Panay island, and in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro provinces.
Onhan is also known as Bisaya-Inunhan, Loocnon, Looknon, Inonhan or Ohnhan. It is closely related to Kinaray-a and Cuyonon, and is written with the Latin alphabet.
