Thai Song (ꪩꪱꪫꪶꪎ꫁ꪉ / ลาวโซ่ง)

Thai Song is a Southwestern Tai language spoken in Thailand by about 45,000 people. The Tai Song people live mainly in Phetchaburi Province in central Thailand. They are also found in the provinces of Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Suphanburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram, Nakhon Sawan and Phitsanulok.

Thai Song is also known as Lao Song, Lao Song Dam, Thai Song Dam or Song. Native speakers call it ꪩꪱꪫꪶꪎ꫁ꪉ / ลาวโซ่ง [laːʊ̭˨˩˥ soŋ˨˩ˀ].

There are ways to write Thai Song with the Tai Viet script and with Thai script. In the chart below, the Tai Viet script appears on the first lines, and the Thai script appears on the second lines
