In English you might say something is as likely as pigs flying or hell freezing over. In other languages there are various ways to express the same ideas. I incorporated some of these idioms into this song, which I wrote in August 2022.
When pigs fly through the sky
When the crows fly upside down
When snow falls down in hell
That's when we'll do that thing
When hens grow teeth in their beaks
When calves dance on the ice
When owls preach in the woods
That's when we'll do that thing
When the cactus grows in your hand
When grapes grow on the willows
When hair grows on the frogs
That's when we'll do that thing
When fish climb the poplar tree
When a crayfish whistles on the hill
When cows cough and lice sneeze
That's when we'll do that thing
When the sun rises is the west
When the sky falls to the ground
When the rain rises to the clouds
That's when we'll do that thing
Here's a recording:
