Thingamajig

This is a song I wrote in November of 2020. It concerns the eternal search for thingamigs, whatsits, gizmos and other assorted whatchamacallits.

Thingamajig

Oh have you seen the thingamajig?
I had it a moment ago
But then I put it down and now I can't find it
Oh where has it gone, do you know?

Chorus

It's gone, it's gone, I can't find it anywhere
It's gone, it's gone, it cannot be found
It's gone, it's gone, it must be somewhere
Oh where has it got to that thingamajig?

You know the one that looks like a wossname
With red doodahs on the top
We bought it last year in that shop with the gizmos
Down by the whatchamacallit

Here's recording I made in January 2021:

Simon Ager · Thingamajig
