Translation

Rose asked about the Neipani clan who lived at Yaio. At first, they lived in a mukinopu tree. This was a tree called mukinopu. They lived inside of it. An elder from the Matoke clan went calling marsupials inland one night. They came out on the top of a banyan tree and danced the Kahua. They lit their lamps and danced the Kahua up at the top of this banyan tree. Then the marsupials came down from the tree and killed the person calling the marsupials.
