Rountongue was invented by Kitsune Sobo as the script and language of various beings in the Rhodinoverse. It is also known as Strange Speech. The Rhodinoverse is a fictional multiverse created and illustrated by Kit, and features various species with their own distinct languages and cultures.
The Rountongue's origin, both speech and script, is completely unknown. It is used by various higher beings within the Nine Worlds of the Veniverse, including the eldritch Dowila Sa'ad and Great Old Ones (Fweos Thirtahaon, singular Fwes Thirtahan, in the Tongue).
The Rountongue script was first recorded in Ooseyard, realm of the Gods, before its presence was gradually documented in Elfhome, Nuelhome, Ettinhome, Wanehome, Mudspellihome, Swarthelfhome, the Sa'ad homeworld (Hell) and scarcely in Midyard (the human world) in the form of brief inscriptions on walls and incomplete texts from unknown authors.
